EASTER MESSAGE
Dear Friends,
Jesus Christ is Risen!
Love has triumphed over hatred, life has conquered death, and light has dispelled the darkness.
In this sacred season, we rejoice not only in the resurrection of our Lord but also in the promise
of renewal for each of us.
The Jubilee Year 2025, proclaimed as a Year of Hope, invites us to walk together as Pilgrims of
Hope, embracing God’s mercy and bringing it to others. It is a time of grace—a holy journey of
rediscovery, of deepening our faith, and of committing ourselves anew to love, justice, and
peace.
At its core, Christianity is a faith, born of Resurrection Hope.
We believe that the risen Christ has turned all our sunsets into dawns. On Easter Sunday, we see
the signs of this transformation: candles lit in dark churches, joyful music filling sacred spaces,
new clothes, vibrant colors, and the baptism of newborns into the Body of Christ. But these are
not just symbols of a past event—they are signs that Christ is rising still, again and again, in our
hearts and in our communities.
As St. Paul writes, “Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above”
(Col 3:1). This resurrection is not only something we look forward to at the end of life; it is
something we live now. Every moment of grace, every act of love, every experience of mercy
and renewal is a share in the power of Christ’s resurrection. In our joys and our struggles, in our
healing and our reconciliation, Jesus is rising again.
Let this Easter be a time when we open our hearts to the risen Lord anew. Let the Jubilee Year
inspire us to become signs of hope for one another—bridges of mercy, lights in the darkness, and
living witnesses of God’s unfailing love.
A Blessed Easter and a Joyful Spring to all our pilgrims and beloved people of God!
Let us walk together as Pilgrims of Hope toward the dawn of a new day.
